Happy birthday Mr. Virus
In questi giorni c'è un glorioso compleanno da festeggiare. In questi giorni di vent'anni fa, nasceva il primo virus.
Brain, nato nel 1986, fu partorito da un programmatore pakistano che l'avrebbe creato per proteggere i suoi lavori da un utilizzo "pirata", e viene riconosciuto oggi come il primo virus per PC. La cosa che ci più ci rende orgogliosi però, è sapere che Brain non è stato il primo virus informatico conosciuto. Il primo virus era nato per colpire le macchine Apple. Il suo nome era Elk Cloner.
E così, noi MacUser abbiamo un altro primato di cui vantarci: aver sconfitto sul nascere quello che sarebbe diventata la piaga di tutti coloro che usano un computer. Perchè se i "figli" di Brain sono più di 150.000, Elk Cloner pare non si sia mai sposato.
